We like to support small, yet high-quality projects made with love. Kid’s designs that enhance our everyday. Products that are aesthetically pleasing but also functional. And, of course, stuff that sparks children’s imagination. Today we want to show you a Kickstarter campaign with well-designed toys for the littlest of the house.
Product designer and mom Beverly Moon has launched Minimoon, a line of modern essentials that delight little ones and inspires parents. The first product in the line is Teeny Teethers.
Inspired by basic shapes, Teeny Teethers are geometric rubber toys that help soothe teething gums, foster creative play, and look beautiful in the home. They are easy to grab, safe to chew, and inspiring to the imagination.
When Beverly Moon became a parent, she quickly realized that the market was full of poorly designed baby products made out of low-quality materials that over-promised and under-delivered. She believes that modern families need better products.
She designed these shapes specifically for tiny, uncoordinated hands, so they’re easy to hold with one or two hands. Teeny Teethers allow babies to practice their gross and fine motor skills and the skeletal structures encourage independent, interactive play.
However, we think Teeny Teethers are not just for teething babies, but for continued imaginative exploration beyond the teething phases. Children can stack them, fill them with different objects, invent stories…
These toys are made in Portland, Oregon out of FDA approved, non-toxic rubber. Furthermore, they are easy to rinse and toss in the dishwasher. Practical, right?
